XTAR PB2C is a flexible device for your power needs. You can use it to charge your rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Or put your batteries in and charge your phone, flashlight and/or radios, etc. The low price makes it a no-brainer.

Compatible with all types of 18650 batteries

Based on the features of PB2, the upgraded XTAR PB2C is compatible with all types of 18650 batteries, including button top, flat top, unprotected, protected, and some customized sizes. It is a good device for repurposing old power tool batteries.

DIY mah capacity

As a power bank, PB2C can provide up to 7200mAh capacity with two max 18650 3600mAh cells. Mah capacity depends on yourselves.

Battery power balancing and protection

XTAR patented safety technology, the battery power balancing, is available for all PB series. When installed two 18650 batteries, the PB2C will automatically detect the battery voltage. If there is a voltage difference between the two cells, it will start the battery power balancing mechanism.

It will charge the lower-voltage battery first, and then the two batteries in parallel when their voltage are balanced. In output mode, it discharges the higher-voltage cell first, and then the two cells in parallel.

In this way, it prevents a single cell from overcharging, over-discharging, or mutual discharging. It prolongs the battery life.

USB output protection

When your phones or other devices are plug off or fully charged, the no-load timer will automatically start. And the USB-A port will stop working after 5 seconds.

The USB output port has short circuit protection. For example, if your keys are accidentally inserted into the USB-A interface, it will cause the positive and negative poles of the interface to be short-circuited. Then the PB2C charger will enter the protection status and stop the output from working.

Smart adjust charging/discharging current

PB2C charger real-time and accurately detect the battery. When it detects the insertion or removal of the battery, it will automatically stop work for 3 seconds, and recalculate the battery capacity. The total charging current is 2A. The PB2C will intelligently distribute the charging current according to the detected capacity. This design brings a high charging efficiency and healthy battery life.

Easy to use & carry

It’s easy to use the USB output function. Plug in your devices to the USB-A port, the PB2C will automatically detect the devices and start discharging. No need to press the button.
